We are looking for a Cobol Engineer for our office in Warsaw or Tricity. Join Avengas team and work with our client from the banking sector in long term project in the Credit Risk team. You should be able to lead others in development. We require team players who autonomously solves tasks with very good at communicating in English. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in a scrum teams tasks in delivering advanced technical solution
  • Efficiently develop new solution and execute changes in existing systems
  • Plan, design and implement development initiatives from the business requirements
  • Participate in large cross functional projects
  • Deliver according to quality and company standards to successfully fulfill business requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Hands on experience with designing, developing and driving Cobol solutions 
  • Cobol
  • IBM Cobol on z/OS
  • DB2 & SQL
  • CICS 
  • Batch & JCL
  • TSO
  • Knowledge/experience with testing

  • Java 
  • Experience with Financial sector
