Quality Engineer (Automotive)

Requirements:
  • You are a technical graduate (you hold a degree in Electro technic, Mechatronics or similar)
  • You have a wide technical understanding of electric and electronic components and systems within the vehicle and their interactions (EMV, control technology)
  • You enjoy a good working knowledge of communications systems like LIN and CAN
  • You have experience in project and quality management in the automotive industry
  • You are experienced at successfully applying preventive quality methods: APQP; FMEAs; FTA
  • You have knowledge/ experience in ensuring functional safety requirements within software engineering and the development of electronics is a significant advantage
  • You are ready to travel
  • You have excellent English language skills

Responsibilities:

  • Quality Planning in projects with electric and electronic systems and components
  • Ensuring compliance with automotive norms and customer standards; IPC, SAE, AEC, etc.
  • Conducting and evaluating danger and risk analyses for electric and electronic systems and components operating with low voltage and high voltage
  • Contributing to the generation of functional and technical safety concepts
  • Customer contact person for E/E - liaise with customer for specific E/E quality issues
  • Leasing and coordinating with external appraiser regarding system evaluations
  • Ensuring that APQP and maturity expectations are fulfilled on time
